Riccardo was born with a very severe form of spastic tetraparesis, a condition that made him vulnerable and dependent in every aspect of his life. I found within myself the strength to support him, dedicating every moment to my little warrior.
Life put us to the test, but together we faced every challenge.
I realized that every action we take for granted — moving, standing up, walking — is a gift that many people, like Riccardo, are unable to experience. And this inspired me to fight for him and create the machine that helped him walk.
Every small improvement became a victory, and in every one of Riccardo’s looks, I found the strength to keep going. What he taught me is something I want to share with the world: by using the machine, he was able to experience the life he was never meant to have. 💛
